Get your brushes ready - Utrecht Art Supplies invites you to join John Gibson for an Interactive Professional Artists’ Acrylic PAINT LIVE! demonstration and workshop.

Sunday February 10th from 1pm to 4pm- Please join John to learn more about these revolutionary acrylics. John will demonstrate how to reblend and rework the paint even after it is touch dry, as well as discuss and show usage for all the integral mediums - Binder, Slow, Fast/Fixer, and Unlocking Formula.

You can experience Interactive yourself and discover how it can transform your acrylic painting process. There will be drawings for art-related prizes, and you’re sure to be inspired.

Marilu Garcia will be teaching a drawing & watercolor class based on the book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain”.  They start February 13th and will be every Wednesday following.

The class will be Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

$15 per class

Students will recieve 10% off their purchases the day of the class.

Marilu Garcia will be showing how to draw and do watercolors from a photograph.

Elements of Art, a non-profit organization, is hosting an art exhibition at Etra Fine Art in the Design District on March 15, 2008 from 6:30 pm-10pm. The 1st annual “Elements of Art Exhibition” will feature local, national and international artists displaying art that follows the theme of “elements of nature.” Art featured for our silent auction will benefit Invisible Children, a non-profit organization that helps the displaced children of Northern Uganda. We are located on South Dixie Hwy and SW62nd Avenue, across the street from South Miami Hospital. We are 3 blocks south of the South Miami Station on the MetroRail.

Directions-

Coming from the North: Take I-95 south until it turns into South Dixie Hwy (US1). Continue on US1 through Coconut Grove and Coral Gables. We are about 3 lights south of Sunset Place (SW 72nd Street). Make a left at SW62nd Avenue, and a right into the parking lot.

Coming from the north-west via 826: Take 826 South and get off at Sunset Place (SW 72nd Street). Take Sunset east (left) to SW62 Ave and make a right. Cross over South Dixie Hwy (US1) and make a right into the parking lot.

Coming from the South: Take South Dixie Hwy (US1) north to SW62nd Ave and make a right, then another right into the parking lot.
