Presents: Transformation- A seemingly miraculous change…

Friday, September 26th, 2008, from 7 to 11pm

The second exhibition of the new Fort Lauderdale-based artists collective explores a freah perspective on the universal concept of transformation with oil and acrylic painting, mixed media drawings, video, animations, photography, sculpture, installation, music, drumming, spoken word, dance and a short reading of a one-woman show.

The night includes open-mic time for those inspired by the show.  Audience is encouraged to bring material.

5th Annual Self-Portrait Contest

This year’s contest will be split into two divisions. Students currently enrolled in Grades 9-11 will be eligible for a Full Scholarship to a Savannah College of Art and Design Summer Seminar 2009. Seniors will be eligible to win a Featured Artist Profile on utrecht.com

Entry Requirements:
Contest participants must be currently enrolled in grades 9-12 and have a GPA of 2.5 or above. Only one submission per student. Artwork must be created using at least one Utrecht Branded Product (paint, canvas, brushes, paper, etc.) All media may be submitted except for photography, sculpture and computer generated artwork. Only original artwork will be considered.
