    Hello.
I am looking for a thick, protective covering to paper mache and decoupage artwork. The thin layers of paper are bumpy and sometimes the corners stick up. The images are glued underneath a clear plate but I need something to over the back. Any ideas?
Any other tips? Deoupage is difficult! My products look too messy. Thanks!

If its something that you are going to use as a dish, i would use an epoxy varnish. If it’s something that you are going to hang on the wall, acrylic varnishes are less expensive and will do what you are looking for
