Acrylic Medium Tips and Pics
Retarder Gel keeps paints wet longer and can be mixed into other acrylic mediums or directly with the acrylic paints. Â
Gloss Gel extends color transparency and preserves your thick brush strokes producing a thick optically clear glaze layer.
Gloss Medium is the most versitile of all acrylic meduims we manufacture. It extends colors and   increases the transparency leaving a smooth, and high gloss surface free of thick brush marks.
Matte Medium creates flat surfaces with a matte, almost satin fnish without holding thick brush strokes.
Matte Gel produces thick and transparent paint layers with the same flat finish as matte medium. This medium will retain more brush strokes.
Modeling Paste adds a heavy body to mixtures, and enables high peaks and dramatic palette knife work.
Pumice Medium provides a technically sound option for introducing great texture into acrylic painting. It produces a rough, and organic looking surface with a warm gray color.
Iridescent Tint Medium adds a pearl like sheen to acrylic paints. It can be mixed directly with colors or applied on top of dry acrylic paint layers.
