VERTIGO National Juried Exhibition
Juror: Tyler Emerson-Dorsch Ms. Emerson-Dorsch is co-owner of Dorsch Gallery one of the pioneer establishment in the Wynwood Art District of Miami, FL. Besides the many shows she has curated at the Dorsch Gallery, she has organized and co-curated shows at World Class Boxing and the Frost Art Museum at FIU. She completed her MA at the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College in 2008, having written a thesis focusing on video art. Between 2002 and 2006 she worked at Miami Art Museum and then Fredric Snitzer Gallery in Miami. She has a BA in Art History from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Awards: Cash awards and possibility of participation in future group and/or solo exhibition at BC.
Media: All media are accepted including digital media and installations as space allows. Works that are easily shipped/ hand delivered are encouraged. All work must be ready to hang with professional wire and have specific installation instructions. Special equipment/installation must be provided by the artist.
Eligibility:This National Juried Exhibition is open to artists 18 years and older who reside in the US. Work must be made within the last 3 years and made completely by the artist with no copyright infringements. Work must be represented by the JPG images; any accepted work that differs from the entry images will be disqualified. Accepted works must remain in the gallery during the entire run of the exhibition and will not be removed for any reason. No substitutions will be allowed.

Entries:Enter by submitting a completed entry form, image and non-refundable fee.
Submit up to 4 digital images on CD. Entries will be juried from only in JPG image files. All Images MUST BE un-retouched, original, RGB color format JPG files saved at 300 dpi at 4 x 6 inches. No exceeding at 1920 pixels in width and height. Only one detail maybe included per work. (totaling 8 jpg files) The image files must be saved as Number corresponding to your entry form, Artists name, and title of work. CD-Rs of unaccepted works for the exhibition will be returned to the artists if SASE is provided. All work must arrive on campus by September 21 2009. (Not a postmark date)
